Bridge City 14, Summit City Sentinels 2

Bridge City FC delivered a dominant performance Saturday night, defeating the Summit City Sentinels 14–2 in front of a lively home crowd. The emphatic victory improves Bridge City to 6–4 in their inaugural season, giving the club 17 points and fourth place in the division with two matches remaining.

Bridge City wasted no time asserting control of the match, pressing high and moving the ball quickly in transition. The attacking unit proved too much for Summit City to handle, with multiple players getting on the scoresheet in a complete team performance.

Leading the way offensively was Nate Dragisich, who recorded a hat trick, while Jamie Luchini added three goals of his own in another clinical showing in front of goal. Javier Morejon also had a standout night, finishing with two goals and an assist, while Jack Shearer contributed two goals in the victory.

The scoring depth continued throughout the lineup as Austin Rocke, Nate Wood, and Gabe Norris each found the back of the net. Wood also added an assist, while Norris chipped in a goal and an assist.

Playmaking was on full display for Bridge City, with Josh Luchini orchestrating the attack and tallying four assists on the night. Additional assists came from Anthony Rowan, Jake Plumb, and Grant Glorioso, as the home side consistently created dangerous opportunities.

Defensively, Bridge City remained sharp throughout the match. Goalkeeper Grant Glorioso delivered a strong performance between the posts, recording 14 saves while also picking up an assist. Kevin Garcia came on in relief and added three saves to help secure the convincing win.

Despite the dominant result, Bridge City’s playoff hopes came to an end following Cleveland’s victory over Chicago on Saturday evening, which mathematically eliminated BCFC from postseason contention.

Even with the setback, the club continues to build momentum and pride in its inaugural season, showing the depth and attacking quality that has made them one of the league’s most entertaining teams.

Bridge City FC will return home next week to host the Chicago Mustangs for Autism Awareness Night, with kickoff set for 7:00 PM. Fans are encouraged to come out and support a great cause while cheering on BCFC as they look to finish the season strong.
