Match Recap: Canadian Crusaders 7, Bridge City FC 4

Bridge City FC battled in front of another packed house Saturday evening but fell 7–4 to the Canadian Crusaders in a hard-fought contest at Sewickley Sports Arena. The loss moves Bridge City to 2–1 on the young season, while Canadian opponents Toronto remain perfect at 6–0.

Offensively, Bridge City spread the scoring around, with Josh Luchini, Jamie Luchini, Jack Shearer, and Nate Dragisich all finding the back of the net. Josh Dimatteo chipped in with an assist, while Jamie Luchini added two helpers to go along with his goal. Despite constant pressure, goalkeeper Grant Glorioso turned in a strong performance between the pipes, making 29 saves to keep Bridge City within striking distance throughout the night.

Saturday marked Bridge City’s second straight sold-out home match, continuing the electric atmosphere and growing momentum around the club. The challenge only gets tougher as Bridge City prepares to welcome a new rival, the undefeated Cleveland Crunch, on Saturday, January 17th at Sewickley Sports Arena. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM in what promises to be another high-energy indoor showdown.
